THE FACE BEHIND THE NAME

Hey there, I'm El! Thanks for taking the time to find out a little more about me and Livfurpool Cat Sitting.

I know from having cats myself, just how important it is to feel confident that they're safe, happy, and well cared for when you're away. Leaving your furbabies with someone else takes a lot of trust, and that's something I never take lightly.

I started Livfurpool in 2024 because I wanted to create the kind of cat sitting service I would want for Wolfie and Willow – one where they are given plenty of attention, their usual routines are respected, and their individual needs are genuinely considered.

Livfurpool has grown into a small team, but those values haven't changed. We're here to give your cats the same TLC we'd want someone to give ours, while making sure you feel reassured and connected to them while you're away.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Care that's centred around your cats

We'll work with you to understand your cats, their routines, and what they need from us, and care for them as we would our own. Whether that means a favourite game, a particular feeding routine, or simply giving them some space, we'll always prioritise their needs and wellbeing.

Keeping things familiar

Staying at home means they don't have to deal with the stress of travelling or adjusting to a new environment. We'll do our best to keep your cats' usual routines as consistent as possible while you're away.

Detailed updates, every visit

More than just "they're fine". You'll receive a report after every visit, including what they've eaten, what they've been up, and any little things we've noticed. For longer stays and house sits, we'll agree your preferred frequency of updates with you beforehand so you know what to expect.

Taking things at their pace

Some cats are ready to be our best friend within five minutes. Others would much rather watch us from across the room! We'll never force interaction and will let your cats decide what they're comfortable with. Having rescue cats ourselves, we understand that trust can take time. We're ready and waiting with all the love in the world if they want it!

Plenty of play and TLC

Where your cats enjoy it, we'll make time for play, fuss, and enrichment during their visits. We're always happy to get involved in a good game of chase, bring out the favourite toys, or attempt our best mouse and bird impressions!

At Livfurpool, putting cats first isn't about assuming we know everything or telling owners how to care for their cats. It's about paying attention, listening and being willing to speak up when something matters.

WE NOTICE THE LITTLE THINGS

Because we spend time getting to know your cats and listening to you, we can learn what is normal for them. That means we're more likely to notice if something seems a little different – whether that's a change in appetite, behaviour, mobility or mood.

If we notice something we're concerned about, we'll let you know what we've seen so that you can decide what you'd like to do.

MEET THE TEAM

Livfurpool may have started with El, but it's now a small team of cat sitters who share the same approach to care.

We aren't just a group of people who can complete a cat sitting visit. We are people who genuinely care about cats, understand the importance of trust and communication, and will treat your furbabies with the same thoughtfulness we'd expect for our own. Every sitter is carefully chosen and supported by El, so although you may have different members of the team caring for your cats, the quality and values behind Livfurpool remain the same.

Consistency is always the starting point, so we will endeavour to have the same person care for your cat every time, so that your furbaby has a familiar face when you're away.

WHY WE CARE SO MUCH ABOUT THE LITTLE THINGS

When you're away from your cats, it's the little things you miss. The funny things they do, their favourite sleeping spot, the silly game they insist on playing, or simply knowing what they're up to while you're gone.

That's why we want our visits to be about more than simply getting the essentials done. We want your cats to have a positive experience while you're away, and we want you to feel like you've had a little window into their day too.
